This photo I took of bench by the pond is an example of framing. It was taken at such a close angle that only one of the rungs in the bench is visible in the foreground. This rung forms a cross shape. This cross appears as a black silhouette against a "tic-tac-toe" pattern formed by the rungs towards the back of the photo. My initial interest in this photo was the way the bench forms a cross. It sort of represents my Christian faith. This photo was taken in the afternoon, during the period after lunch. When I look at this photo I am reminded of the way Jesus died to save us. Apart from being leading lines  my photo could also be considered repetition. In a way it is also framing because the top and bottom of the picture are dark from the edges of the sqaures the cross is formed from.
